RE: Is it possible to restrict certain accounts in the Journal Entry form only?
Client wants to have certain accounts to be available only in the AR/AP modules like Invoices, Vendor Bills etc. but should not be accessible when making Journal Entries. I know certain accounts can be restricted according to role but how about in this situation where a role should be able to access those accounts only in certain forms?

Thanks for the confirmation. I’m not sure yet but I think it’s just a nice-to-have request. I was thinking a workaround would be to just have the journal go through approvals so any postings to those accounts can just be rejected.
Is it possible for journals to trigger an approval process if specific accounts are included in the entry? or does that also require a great deal of customization?
