RE: I would like to create a BOM with up to 10 active Revs. Can I create revision options on a BOM that are not based on date?
I would like to create a BOM with with multiple active Revisions, can I create multiple revs without them being assigned an effective start date/end date.
Example
BOM is for shoe
– Rev 1 – black shoe
-Rev 2 is white shoe
-Rev 3 is blue shoe
…..
I just want to be able to assign the Rev on the WO, regardless of effective date

Not sure If I’ve understood correctly but it might be the case to simply create different BOMs. You’ll be able to assign the BOM directly from the work order. Make sure to uncheck the default BOM so the person who’s assembling the WO will always have to choose one from the dropdown menu.
Concerning Start date and End date, you can leave them black, this is not mandatory in my environment.
