RE: How to get an account value at a certain date
Hi,
I’m trying to setup a Saved Search that will allow me to pull the average value of a certain month for our inventory.
For example, looking at the last 3 months, it should display the average stock value. The issue is not calculating the average, but getting the account value, day by day.
I can’t seem to figure out how to set up the report, I’ve tried using the account saved search, but it only gives me the current value of that account, not on a specific date.
Any input is greatly appreciated!
You would need to create a saved search that looks at the transactions that brought in inventory, and average those. The account itself cannot be queried for this info – you must compute it yourself from the raw transaction data.
