RE: How to disable the Amount Column on the Line Item on the Quotation Form (“Estimate”)

Is there a way to disable the line item field Amount?
Currently the Amount field is visible, and users can basically edit the Amount if they wish. The finance requested that the Fiedl Amount on the Quotation Form (“Estimate”) should be disable to prevent Sales Rep from change the Amount.
If click the Customize form and view the Sublist Field Amount, there is NO Option to disable the field.

You should be able to clear the label in the form and it won’t show. After doing that you can restrict the form to the sales rep role.

Having the “Amount” field in the line Item is fine. However the requirement of the Finance is just to Disable the “Amount” field, so that the sales rep would not be able to edit the Amount.
I know its possible but I’m still new to Oracle Netsuite.
I hope some experience Netsuite User can show the solution to this.
