How can I track or create by-product as a result of a work order?
Rough Example:
We run Raw Material A through a process.
This creates
– Raw Material B
– Raw Material C
– Finished Good D
For every 100 lb of A we create ( 30lb B, 35 lb C, 35lb D )
Does NetSuite have a way to track / create this by-product?
You may be able to use the phantom assembly functionality for this, create a phantom assembly and add this to the BOM of the parent as a phantom and in the BOM of the phantom assembly add what ever the by product consumes to become the by product
