I need to add an “other custom field”, an inbound shipment-related field to a custom form.
I can find a way to apply to a form as this is not an item field.

Yes, it’s an “Other record field” I created a field called (expected receipt date). This is the one I need to include in a form.

“Other Record Fields” are meant for record types that falls outside Items/Transactions/Entity
Each “Form” have a corresponding record type.
You must know the corresponding record type for the form, and apply/configure the OTHER FIELD to show on that record type.
Can you share the record type, or the form that you are targeting?
For example, in the screenshot above, it is clear that the Form highlighted is for the type called INBOUND SHIPMENT.
