I created assets manually, the depreciation ran successfully, creating journals in the depreciation account of the balance sheet and the depreciation charge account of the P&L account.
However the acquistion of the asset is not appearing on the asset account of the balance sheet???
Please help.
Check the G/L impact on your transaction of the asset. Does it show posting No? It ought to show Posting=Yes
