RE: Error Setting Purchase Order Line Item fields
Hi – I’m using the PurchaseOrder SuiteTalk API and am having trouble setting department and location fields on the PurchaseOrder-itemElement. This is the error I get:
“”Unknown field name ‘department’. Field does not exist on this record instance.”
Has anyone else run into this? Department and Location are fields that should show up according to the API: https://system.netsuite.com/help/helpcenter/en_US/APIs/REST_API_Browser/record/v1/2020.2/index.html#/definitions/purchaseOrder-itemElement
Appreciate it if anyone has run into this and/or can share are any workarounds. Thanks!

There have been similar issues reported for these fields on Sales Orders:

I’m not aware of any current solution or workaround.
