RE: Commit available inventory but fulfill Sales Order only when complete
Hi everyone,
In a Sales Order, is it possible to commit the available inventory, but fulfill only when complete?
Currently, if I select “commit available” then the “Fulfill” option appear (I dont want that).. but if I select “Complete Quantity” then the inventory is available to other Sales Orders (I dont want that)
What I need: Commit the available inventory, but only show the Fulfill optino when the quantity is complete.
Am I missing something?
I don’t believe there is a way natively. But you could customise the SO page to hide the “Fulfill” button under certain conditions (I’ve done something similar in the past)
It’s worth noting that you should also be aware of fulfilments being generated in other ways (i.e. via the “Print Picking Tickets” page) and account for that if necessary.
