RE: ANY WAY TO FORCE LOGOUT OF ALL USERS?

NEED ALL USERS LOGGED OUT FOR A SET PERIOD OF TIME . ANY WAY TO ‘FORCE’ LOGOUT FOR ALL USERS? OUR MANUFACTURING IS 24/7 AND WE’RE MOVING TO ONE WORLD.

Hello!

The quickest way to do this is to download a saved search of all active users (users with “Give Access” check box checked). Then perform a quick CSV import to uncheck this box for all employees. Likely you will want to keep access for system administrators, so consider that also.

I hope this helps!

Thanks Sonny,

I appreciate the suggestion.  However – I do not wish to inactivate the users.  I just want to bump them out for approximately 2 hour span while we upgrade from standard Netsuite to the provisioned One-World.  It is problematic that inactivating them is the only way – when it’s a temporary situation, and then I’ll have to go in and return the users to active with an invitiation email after the fact.

That is how I have managed in the past. Quick CSV import to uncheck the “Give Access” check box, then after 2 hours (in your case), upload the same CSV import file and hardcode “Give Access” to be checked. The one additional step to consider here is that you need to also include the employee roles in the CSV import, so make sure to capture those before removing access. This process should only take 10-15 minutes end to end and has worked great for me.  No invitation emails will be triggered unless you check the box ” SEND NEW ACCESS NOTIFICATION EMAIL”, which should remain unchecked.

Let me know if you run into any issues.
