RE: un-print a sales order

While printing Sales Orders we occasionally prove our humanity by making a mistake. Something simple like printing an order with a ship date several months in the future.

in NetSuite the order’s “Picking Ticket Printed” flag is set to true. So far, we have found no sequence of events, short of deleting the order and re-keying, that can reverse this issue. 

Jump forward in time to the date the order should ship, and it doesn’t show in the list of unprinted orders. Good chance it doesn’t get shipped on time.

Can’t uncheck, update the “Picking Ticket Printed” field, because it is a calculated field.

However, it is obvious that something changed on the order that generates said calculated field.

Does anyone have a solution?

PS: NetSuite says its working as expected. (i.e. they never expected a human interface).

Check out “Value of Printed Picking Ticket field on Sales Order’s System Notes changes from F to T and vice versa” SuiteAnswer Id: 23971.  Looks like the only other way is to partially fulfill the order, then it gets reset to false.
