RE: Item Promotions Netsuite
I have defined an item promotion in netsuite . When a customer buys items listed in a saved search he well get the discount equal to 200% of price of cheapest item listed in a saved search.
The issue is that when total quantity of items in an order that belong to saved search is greater then 6 then discount applies .. I don’t want this to happen. Instead i want discount to be applied when the quantity of a single item that belongs to saved search becomes greater then 6 not combined quantities of all items greater than 6 . If an individual item has quantity greater than 6 then discount should be applied equal to the cheapest item price.
can anyone guide regarding this ?

Unfortunately, you are experiencing the same things that I have struggled with. I have not found an easy way around this other than, as JJacobs suggested, specifying each individual item as purchase qty of 6 in their own promo.
I have found that if you combine a Quantity Pricing Schedule and Pricing Groups you can set a specific discount for qty of 6 then assign customers to a certain pricing group to qualify for that discount. This has disadvantages because it is more difficult to track as a discount and can be tricky to report alongside your normal promos.
