I have dded a gift item in sales order transaction but can not see gift certificate column in the line to enter recepient email ? what could be the issue . Gift certificate feature is enabled .

Click on customize form on the sales order and under the screen fields make verify the Gift Certificate field is exposed [Show check box should be checked].
